Our favorite pop ups to date have been with the students of the Embudo Valley Tutoring Program. They have provided continuous free tutoring and mentoring to children and youth of the Rio Grande and surrounding villages for 12 years. El Mercado Project builds on heritage and tradition passed down throughout their family expressed through art. Values such as marketing and business are cultivated through the program producing a gallery opening event hosted by the student artists themselves.
Post program, two of our Anansi Charter School Students from El Mercado Project were accepted into The Santa Fe School of The Arts!
We are so proud of them! Seeing mentored students take the next step in their careers as artists weaves the dreams of many to come.
We have students who have been inspired, aiming to be accepted this year. Help our students become inspired future artists representing Taos!
